The Working Principle and Applications of Vacuum Oil Purifiers
A vacuum oil purifier is a piece of equipment used to remove impurities and gases from lubricating oil; it is widely used in industrial production, particularly in the fields of lubricating oil treatment and regeneration. By utilising vacuum and filtration technologies, it purifies the oil and removes gases and water, thereby extending the service life of the lubricating oil and improving the performance and reliability of the equipment.
The operating principle of a vacuum oil purifier mainly comprises the following steps:
Firstly, the lubricating oil to be purified is conveyed via pipework to the heating unit inside the vacuum oil purifier. The heating unit heats the lubricating oil to a specific temperature, which helps to reduce the oil’s viscosity and facilitates the separation of impurities and moisture.
Next, the heated lubricating oil enters the vacuum degassing chamber, where a vacuum environment is created. Simultaneously, the oil is sprayed into a thin film using methods such as rotation or spraying. By exposing a large surface area to the vacuum environment, gases within the oil are extracted by the vacuum pump, thereby achieving degassing.
Subsequently, the degassed lubricating oil enters the filtration system, where it is filtered through filter elements or other filtration media to remove solid particles and minute impurities, thereby improving the oil’s purity.
Finally, the treated lubricating oil is returned via the outlet pipe to the equipment or storage tank, completing the entire purification process.
In summary, through multiple process steps such as heating, degassing and filtration, the vacuum oil purifier effectively removes impurities, gases and moisture from the lubricating oil, thereby enabling its reuse and improving its quality.
